Sweet Kisses From the Urbantic Chaperon Gridskipper's Comic Lover's Guide to SF
Wow, it's been so insanely busy at the shop that I've been meaning to post this for weeks now. Thank you to each and every one of you who have kept the store jumping and the Isotope Communique a virtual ghost-town recently. I love you all.
Now, let's get to talking about those oh, so kind folks at Gridskipper, shall we?
On those days when yours truly dreamily fantasizes about dropping off the face of the Earth for an extended roadtrip to discover strange wonders in new cities, I always turn to the perpetually-updated urban travel guide that is Gridskipper.
From the worst Irish bars in DC, to the best places to get Japanese pastries in Paris, to the amazing classic car museums of LA, to the best places in the Castro to get your hormone suppliments (featuring our amigo Todd Hellings!), to the kind of hotels Warren Ellis surely has already LiveJournaled about, the folks at Gridskipper serve all the urban travel high-weirdness and divine goodness that you could ever hope for.
We're honored to get featured on the site yet again, this time in their Ultimate Comic Lover's Guide to SF, along with the Cartoon Art Museum, the wonderful Kinokuniya Bookstore, WonderCon, our friends at Comic Outpost, that super-swell Giant Robot store, the east bay's Comic Relief, and many other fine comic-centric SF locales.
