On The Eve of the Final Issue of Y The Last Man Not a Movie Adaptation, But a Trilogy of Movies!
This is the week when the conclusion, the final, the last ever issue of Y The Last Man hits the new arrivals rack. My staff and I couldn't be more excited to see how this amazing series ends, but at the same time we're downright shell-shocked by the notion that such a wonderful staple of our monthly reading enjoyment is about to come to an end.
What are we going to do without Y in our lives?!
But trust the always divine pop culture icon Whitney Matheson to brighten even the darkest clouds and make our hearts soar with an exclusive scoop of delightful new Y the movie adaptation news!
You heard it right, mi amigos, three movies. Go check out Ms. Matheson's end of series tribute in the pages of USAToday, with words from series author Brian K. Vaughan, along with the smartest man in comics Tom Spurgeon, and also the juicy-secret-dropping Y the movie adaptation director D.J. Caruso. You'll be glad you did.
Or for the digitally inclined, you can read it here:
Why, oh 'Y,' must 'Last Man' end?
This fantastic news really brightens our day and has us looking forward to the arrival of this final issue even more! Do drop us an email to reserve your copy of this last issue, and for those of you who will be requiring a post Y the Last Man support group (I know I will) we will be having our first meeting this Wednesday night at this location.Labels: Brian K Vaughan, comics, movies, Whitney Matheson
