The Final Days of the Mythic Superhero

We're kicking off the Isotope's week-long holiday stocking stuffer New Comics Peepshow with a bang!

Here at the Isotope we really like the books Rick Remender puts out, which all combine a real joy for the comic artform with a steel-toed combat boot to the back of the head to that which is anything less than exciting. And when Remender decides to put his spin on an over-worked genre it's of the take-a-sit-and-spin variety, as evidenced recently with books like the zombie-porno-movie opus XXXombies and his hyper-kinetic Fear Agent, the book that single-handily made bubble-helmet and raygun sci fi fun and badass again.

The End League tells the tale of Earth's last remaining ragtag group of superman and women on a desperate quest for the hammer of Thor in a world decimated by evil. And when I heard that Rick was teaming with WildC.A.T.S. artist Mat Broome to for this creator owned superhero epic I knew we just had to get you all a sneak peek!
