Let's face it, we're all a bunch of nerds here.

As the owner of a vintage muscle car and a guy whose favorite movie of all time is this crusty flick from the 70's no one else cares about, it's pretty obvious I'm a nerd for more than just the funnybooks. So when Larry Young told me he was combining his love of 70's car chase films, dystopian futures, and comic books with Black Diamond I couldn't have been more nerdilly thrilled.

That Larry Young, he sure does know how to make a feller wait and wait and wait for our vintage muscle car comics. But at long last, it's finally coming out! In this latest interview Mister Young lets us know about the series once again and when it's going to drop.

In case you're not in a constant state over excitement about such high-octane things, I suggest a quick re-watching of the greatest chase scenes in movie history (plus this one and this one and this one of course) to get you in the mood. Or better yet, getting the wheels out on the open road, letting your engine roar, and cranking up the soundsystem with some kick ass driving music.

Vroom!
