It's That Time of Year Again SF ZineFest September 9 - 10th
What better way to spend your weekend than with a two day long celebration of mini-comics, zines, handcrafted sketchbooks, and DIY workshops? For the fifth year running, this Do It Yourself convention offers SF Bay Area residents a perfect environment to get zines and minis into the hands of like-minded individuals and score yourself the latest sexy reads from the four corners of the hand-made zine and comics scene. And as is tradition, the SF ZineFest also features a sceening of the great documentary about the world of indy magazines and comics "A Hundred Dollars and a T-Shirt"
And if you're lucky... I mean really, really lucky... you'll even be able to get your hands on the ever-elusive Henry & Glenn mini-comic that dares to ask the question "What would happen if Henry Rollins and Glenn Danzig lived together in domestic bliss?"
San Francisco Zine Fest @ CELLspace 2050 Bryant Street (between 18th & 19th) Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th www.sfzinefest.com
