Wet Moon, Spooked, Abandoned, & More Ross Campbell Talks Comics @ Newsarama
If you've talked to any member of the Isotope staff in the past year, there's a good chance that Jared, Ian, Kirsten, or James have ranted at you about the amazing work of Ross Campbell. We humbly suggest that the Isotope staff has excellent taste in comics (check out our launch event for American Born Chinese and judge for yourself), and quite frankly we think Campbell's got the goods.
It's no surprise to us that ushering copies of Campbell's brilliant Wet Moon graphic novels out the door by the dozen by the day is a commonplace occurrence, or that his zombie opus The Abandoned is second only to the mighty Walking Dead in popularity for those folks looking for a little flesh-chewing action. What has been something of a surprise to us is that he's not already the biggest thing in comics!
But today when we saw that Chris Arrant (who always has great taste in comics) was interviewing Campbell on Newsarama and caught the line "and an upcoming high-profile gig that he can't talk about" we knew then and there that the rest of the comic industry was about to realize that, yes indeed... Ross Campbell Is The Next Big Thing In Comics.
