A Surprise Isotope Visit w/ Paul Cornell

Surprise, It's Hugo Award Nominated
Author of Doctor Who "Father's Day"

While the Isotope is closed on Mondays to give the staff a chance to catch up with all the extra behind the scenes work that makes the comic book lounge run... we know that the shop can be something of a mecca for the comics tourist and travelers. So some Mondays we'll throw the rules away, unlock the front door, and invite our out of town friends in.

This week we had a surprise visit from British comic and television author Paul Cornell, in from London and on his way to WorldCon to attend the prestigious Hugo Awards for the nomination of his truly incredible Doctor Who episode "Father's Day." Aside from his glorious television career, and some great 2000ad stories, Paul is also writing the upcoming Kevin Walker drawn Pete Wisdom series from Marvel's MAX line.
