Local Boy Goes Exclusive

By far the most interesting news to come out of Wizard World Chicago is DC signing an exclusive contract with Brian Wood. The Isotope staff and customers spent a whole heck of a lot of time with Bri when he lived here in SF and we all had a great time throwing a month long in-store event with him and participating in crazy Brian Wood promotional events that helped spread the gospel of Brian's work throughout the industry like wildfire.

While the thought of no more Bri Wood indy books from AIT/PlanetLar like Channel Zero, IDW like Supermarket, or Oni Press like Local does indeed bring a small frown to our faces... we think the exclusive DC contract is a really great move for both Brian and for Vertigo. We're excited to see what the next two years will bring and are full of smiles to see our boy doing so well career-wise.

So on behalf of the Isotope staff and customers... congrats Brian!
