Let Your Voice Be Heard
Get Your Votes In Today

Here at the Isotope we're big supporters of the democratic process. We've thrown events encouraging voter registration and we've thrown events that rewarded those who vote in the past and we'll undoubtedly do so again, because getting to have your voice heard is something that we believe in.

So today we're giving you this reminder to get your votes in for the SF Bay Guardian's Best of the Bay Reader's Poll. We've been lucky enough to have been honored as SF's "Best Comic Book Store" for three year's running, thanks to people like you who took the time to fill out a ballot and show us the love. And we thank you each from the bottom of our comic pimping hearts for that!

Now we're well aware that it can be a challenge filling out the on-line form, so for those folks who need some suggestions of other folks to vote for we kindly suggest considering the following:

"Best DJ" DJ SamSupa
"Best Locally Produced TV Show" Ms. Monster Presents Hel On Ice
"Best Happy Hour" Jade Bar
"Best Dance Club" Shine
"Best Late-Night Restaurant" Sauce
"Best Splurge Restaurant" Sauce
"Best Quirky Specialty Store" Urban Knitting Studio
"Best Cover Band" AC/Dshe
"Best Place to Buy Fetish Gear" Dark Garden
"Best Place for a Haircut" Hair of the Gods
"Best Movie Theater" Castro Theatre
"Best Local Publishing House" AIT/PlanetLar

Choosing the Isotope Comic Rockstars Toiletseat Museum for "Best Museum" is completely unnecessary... but it would be funny!

The Isotope staff are hoping the city of San Francisco will recognize our unique approach to comic retailing once again, and we encourage all our friends and family to get their voices heard for 2006. Voting ends this Tuesday June 27th at 5pm so don't delay, get those votes in!
