Congrats to Danica Novgorodoff

The 2006 Isotope Award Goes To
Danica Novgorodoff's A Late Freeze

She's an artist, author, painter, photographer, designer, mini-comic creator... and now Danica Novgorodoff has joined the ranks of the winners of the Isotope Award for Excellence in Mini-Comics!

Danica's work captured the hearts of our award judges with a slickly quiet mini about the love affair between a bear and a robot. Smart, elegant, and utterly heartbreaking, A Late Freeze is the kind of story that makes you fall in love with comics all over again.

And in person this firecracker from NYC made quite the unforgettable impression on the hundreds in attendance for APE AFTERMATH.

Congrats out to Ms. Novgorodoff for a well-deserved win!
