New Doctor Who Mini-Episode On-Line for Your Downloading Pleasure
Here at the Isotope we're proud to say that we absolutely dig Doctor Who. Sure, the show always was a little goofy, some characters borderline on the annoying, and the special effects have traditionally been sub-B-Movie level... but, see, that's the charm, and if you don't get it we have no choice but to feel a little sorry for you.
So it should come as no surprise that we're pointing you in the direction of the BBC's "Children in Need" fundraiser special which features brand spankin' new Doctor Who starring David Tennant and Billie Piper. Although rumored, the Doctor's apparently worse-for-the-wear companion K-9 was not part of this episode, but the BBC has announced that everyone's favorite know-it-all robotic canine will be appearing (voiced by John Leeson and with companion Sarah Jane) in a one-off episode in 2006.
But be warned! Just because the awkwardly-suited rubber monsters on that show never scared us big tough Americans one bit, we do try to empathize with our overseas friends whom it may have. So before you click that link, you might want to take the time to find a place to hide!
