The World's Most Dangerous Band Celebrates 20 Years of Insanity in SF
For two decades those space-traveling scumdogs of the universe GWAR have been throwing the most outrageous concerts ever witnessed, battling against giant monsters and idiotic celebrities, recording albums that defy simple description, and causing untold destruction and terrorizing small animals and the weak willed alike. And in celebration of twenty years of destruction they are bringing their one-ring circus of absurdity to the parking lot of San Francisco's best low-rent live music venue PoundSF.
Like last month's excellent Blackest of the Black tour (which featured Danzig, Poland's black metal monsters Behemoth, and Chimaira who will be featured in Planet Moon's INFECTED for the PSP) GWAR will be playing under the night sky in the Pound's parking lot. No doubt the outdoor venue will be host to an unprecedented amount of blood spraying from decapitated creature's necks... and without a doubt the Isotope will be there in full force to revel in the insanity!
For a first hand look at the terrible damage that GWAR has been known to cause check out these filth-ridden post-GWAR pictures of Isotope Bon Vivant Ian Yarborough, Isotope Enforcer Jared Guenther, Isotope Special Projects Director Kirsten Baldock, and Isotope Proprietor James Sime or download the music video for GWAR's classic "Bring Back the Bomb" and witness the blood and gore soaked staff of the world's hardest rocking comic shop mixing it up stageside!
