Dreams Into Nightmares

The fantasy world of lucid dreaming is the subject of Deep Sleeper, a genuinely creepy graphic novel in stores tomorrow from Image Comics. Everyone suffers from periodic nightmares or an occasional lingering sense of horror upon awakening, but the nocturnal reveries of Deep Sleeper's Cole are something much more alarmingly abominable. Cole is a sleep walker, but not in the traditional sense, because Cole walks through the altered conciousness of the dark dellusions of dreams.
