When Captain America Secrets Come Out ... Will Brubaker Reveal All?
With gorgeous art from two of the industry's best, and Brubaker serving up an exciting, mysterious storyline tracing back to Cap's roots, the recent run on Captain America by Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting, and Michael Lark is one of the Isotope's favorite comics on the stands today. Throw in the Red Skull, the Invaders, the death of Jack Monroe, the return of the Cosmic Cube, lots and lots of S.H.E.I.L.D. action, and an ever-building crescendo of cliffhanger endings... and it's no surpirse that we've been paying very close attention to Captain America these past months.
In this latest Newsarama piece, Brubaker sits down and talks about "The Winter Soldier," the evil enigma behind recent events in the ultimate patriotic hero's life. With a promise to reveal all in the up-coming issue 6, the author takes a look at the clues and goes into depth about who the villain might be. But does he reveal too much? Or is it all just smoke and mirrors? And could this poll on Marvel.com shed some light on the mystery? Or is that, too, all misdirection orchastrated by Brubaker, Epting, and Lark?
UPDATE: Now Brubaker's talking about Bucky Barnes... could these two articles be related?
