Bootleg Mashup Party
Saturday @ The Cherry Bar

San Francisco's Cherry Bar hosts Bootie SF a mashup party featuring DJ Adrienne and Mysterious D, DJ Axel, and SF's own mashup maestro Party Ben. Saturday's Bootie SF features free copies of DJ BC's mash-up album, "The Beastles" (Beastie Boys vs. The Beatles). Mashups, which combine the vocal track of one song mixed over the instrumentation of another, were made famous by DJ Dangermouse, The Kleptones, and DJ Z-Trip. These illegal remixes have been burning up iPods and been contributing to the ulcers of record company executives everywhere. See new music mashups made live at Bootie SF.
