San Francisco's Anime OD 2005
An Uncut Dose of Anime Straight to the Mainline!

This weekend SF welcomes the annual overdose of stars, culture, and animation that is Anime OD. For 2005 along with the usual movie screenings, charity auctions, CosPlay competitions and late night karaoke, Anime OD also will be featuring panels on Voice Acting, Censorship in Animation, Japanese Video Games, Viz Comics Animerica presentation, and EigoManga's portfolio review.

Distinguished guests include Gunsmith Cats director Takeshi Mori, anime voice actress Yuriko Fuchizaki whose voice acting talents have made her legendary worldwide, the ever-popular Tara Strong also known as Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls and Raven from Teen Titans, Kim Moon Sang the director of what is considered by many the best Korean animated feature of all time Sky Blue, groovy Flash animation studio Mondo Media, superhot visual kei rockers Psycho le Cemu, Isotope regular Ken Pontac who has brought your Gumby, ClayFighter, and Mr. Bumpy dreams to life, and even... the legendary Marv Wolfman! What Marv Wolfman is doing at an anime convention we will never know, but the Isotope applauds him for reaching out to the ever-growing fanbase that manga and anime represent.
